2 Bye-54 was my Level 2 Cert Rocket (talk about making it hard)... dual 54mm motors and staging.  Flew to over 12000 ft and recovered safely. It had electronic AND a back-up 2nd stage ignition (initiated from the  primary 1st stage motor... that was tricky) and also had dual redundant drogue/main recovery.
