Aerotech DMS L-1000 Casing Failure in 25# 7' tall scratch built Redstone missile at NXRS 2017 Seventh flight for this rocket and third flight on L-1000 motors. This was a new version of the L-1000 with thicker casing and 3-d printed thrust ring. Rocket and chute were a total loss.
