First night flight of the year.  Phoenix 2 loaded with white translucent nosecone and bright red flashlight.  Set to solid beam rather than blinking.  Launched on C-6-5.  Good flight.  Visible as a bright red dot throughout flight.  Parachute deployed and opened successfully.  Rocket drifted down into gully about 100 yards southeast of the launch site.  Daniel recovered via flashlight within three minutes.  No damage to the rocket.
