Each and every year, through the generosity of the Aggie Network, The Association of Former Students is able to provide support to many of the 1000 plus student organizations at Texas A&M. This past year, the Texas A&M Sounding Rocketry Team was one of the organizations impacted. The support provided allowed the team to compete for the first time at the Intercollegiate Rocket Engineering Competition, where they helped project Texas A&M engineering excellence to the world by receiving a 2nd place category award, while also winning an overall technical excellence and innovation award.
