First flight of this rocket.  Rocket was packed for deployment of main chute at apogee by the onboard Adept 22 atltimiter.  Long delay on motor was for backup.  Slow ascent.  Late deployment of chute.  Upon recovery, we found that the Adept 22 did not dectect launch and therefore the chute was deployed by the long motor delay.  No damage to rocket, but I think the Adept 22 is done.
