Rocksimmed and built from original Centuri plans using Estes, Semroc, and custom made parts.
This is a replica of the rocket that started it all for me. I was in the 5th grade in 1973, when I found a lime green Centuri, Starfire in my grandmother's tree. Immediately I was HOOKED! I have been designing, building, and launching rockets on and off ever since. I don't know whatever happened to the original rocket I found in the tree that day. I guess at that age, I didn't realize it's significance. But this one is the same exact color of that original Starfire, and it always serves to remind me of that imaginative young kid that wanted to be an astronaut, and just loved launching rockets! The Starfire - as simple as it is - will always be my favorite rocket.

- Great flight path, estimated to be higher than Rockim calculations.
- Mylar chute did not open. Chute was not tangled, or folded, just didn't pop open from the force of air. No damage though.
