Drone view of model rocket launch

This video shows the results of combining one of my childhood hobbies (building and launching model rockets) with one of my current hobbies (flying drones). Normally, one views a rocket launch from the ground. I thought it would be interesting to create a birds-eye view a rocket launch using a drone. To set this up I flew my drone to a height of around 170 feet and used the camera to position the drone directly over the rocket launching area. I thought this would give me a pretty good view. I also assumed the chances of hitting a drone with a model rocket 170 feet away would be slim to none. So, I wasn’t too worried. The results are not too bad. My last rocket launch was with a motor larger than what I would normally use in a medium sized rocket. As expected, the rocket went very high then landed in a location where I could not find it.
