Epic II is a two-stage Estes rocket sold by Hobby Lobby. It appears nearly identical to the Estes Sterling Silver kit.
Nice high flights are possible using an A8-0/A8-5 motor combination. Epic II will head out-of-sight using B6-0/B6-6 motors on a straight up flight. Upper stage ignition is dependable, but clean booster separation requires a careful "just right" fit between the booster and the sustainer stages.
