Second launch of the Estes Blue Ninja rocket modified with camcorder. Modified to launch on an Aerotech G80T motor. This was launched on April 3rd, 2010 at the LUNAR Snow Ranch site near Stockton, Ca. Estimated altitude of 3500 feet. This was the second of two launches of this rocket that day. The clouds gave way for the most part for this launch giving a much better view of the ground up to apogee. Rocket had a loose fin and one cracked fin on recovery... either a hard landing or some re-contact at chute deploy. A few hours of work and it should be ready to fly again! Note, this rocket was designed for Estes D motors... but I've successfully launched on E, F, and now G motors.... H anyone?
