For this rocket, I decided to use label paper to make the fins smooth. Big mistake. 

Once the fins were attached and the rocket got painted, I needed to sand it down in some places. That caused the label paper to bubble up. It wasn't pretty. The large cylinder was also a challenge. It was supposed to be a different color, but it turned out to be impossible to paint each section a different color without any bleedthrough. Masking in the crevices just wasn't working.

It took a long time for me to get this rocket to a state I'm satisfied with. I don't think I will ever paper fins again.
