FRT 001 & 002.avi (2011-06-28)

Early Saturday morning FTR 001 Taser rocket powered by Estes B6-4 engines was sucessfully launched by Commander Thomas and Engineer DAD. After parachute deployment was completed the light easterly winds did make the splash down out of the park into local neighbourhood. FTR 001 was recovered with minimal damage. FTR 002 lauch site was moved 100 feet east of FTR 001 with an approx. altitude of 300 feet straight up climb. Some damage in on touchdown stage with two missing rockets fins. The Taser is in the shop undergoing repairs by the Engineering department. Stay tune for FTR 003 and 004, with a new lauch site TBA.
