First 808 keychain camera launch on Estes Skyhawker rocket
We taped the camera downward-facing onto the side of the rocket. We were worried that it would tip to one side, so we taped a small rock on the opposite side to counterbalance it. It mostly worked, as the rocket tipped only toward the end of its flight path. The only bad news is that the parachute didn't eject properly (not the fault of the camera - just back packing job) and the rocket ended up breaking in half. But a ton of fun and just our first try. Lots to learn!
