GPS Guided Recovery - Return to Launch Site

This is a prototype of Apogee's GPS Guided Recovery system for model rockets. It is intended to decrease the walking distance you have to make to get your rocket back. It uses a GPS controller to guide the rocket back to the location where the electronics was turned on. It features a Rogallo parawing to bring the rocket slowly to the ground for a nice safe landing. It is fully autonomous, but has the capability to be steered with an optional radio controller. When will it be available? How much will it cost? These will be answered in the Apogee Components newsletter on the web site. Be sure to sign up to receive updates on the progress of this revolutionary recovery system.
