Cool flight!  Snowy out, so I figured I should get out the little plastic shark.  Flew straight up and ejection at apogee; however parachute failed to come out...just the nose popped off.  Rocket came down slowly and landed less than a foot next to me!  Parachute was scorched.  I did use Estes wadding as instructed (2 sheets); however upon examination I realized that you have to be careful with the wadding on this one since the tube is triangular, the usual "ball of wad" doesn't quite do it and would allow hot gasses to pass around the sharp corners.  I'll try dog barf or inserting the wadding flat with a stick and making sure the corners are covered next time.  Still a great fun little "mean looking" flier.
