Flight Log - 2015-12-12 - Ken E. Coyote's Madcow Bomarc (2.6")

Madcow kit built as per instructions...very heavy rocket!  Unfortunately wings bowed/warped significantly during construction and despite many efforts to straighten back, one wing is still somewhat "off".

Flight Date: 2015-12-12
Rocket Name: Madcow Bomarc (2.6")
Kit Name: Madcow Rocketry - Bomarc {Kit}
Flyer's Name: Ken E. Coyote
Motors: G76-6
Expected Altitude: 940.00 Feet
Wind Speed: 2.00 mph
Launch Site: Radical Rocketeers
Actual Altitude: 800.00 Feet

Another first flight with trepidation since this is a big and heavy winged rocket and one wing was still a bit warped.  Rocket came off the rail straight; however despite the rail being angled away from the parking lot, it quickly rolled over to the left and toward the parking lot, flew over it, good ejection and chute and landed with a loud "THUNK" on the road.  Rocket is fine since it landed on the motor nozzle.  :)
