This was my second model rocket, level 2, and very similar to the first. Have learned a great deal about how to do it. Went very fast. Expect to fly with an A, and 2 B engines.

With the loan of an igniter and using club launch rod, the IRIS flew straight and high, delayed a bit before deployment, but with favorable chute and steady wind, drifted NE to gentle touchdown within the field. A few additional red marks from the nosecone were observed on the body, indicating some impact after deployment. Dog Barf wadding worked well and no problems observed.
