Flight Log - 2013-07-15 - Ryan Catanesi's Kwiksilver
This is a barebones design. 54mm class airframe with a 38mm motor.
Kwiksilver features a G12 Fillament wound fiberglass airframe AND nosecone from Performance Rocketry. She has 6061-T6 aluminum fins, centering rings, and bulkheads that i cut with a plasma cutter. She has an avbay/coupler of aluminum from part of an old, unusable 54mm motor case.
Kwiksilver sports the 38/1320 motor from Rouse-Tech , flying the AeroTech J510W to about 10,500 feet.
She is dual deploy, with a Featherweight Raven2 and a Perfectflite stratologger.
