M13 & M57 Hypercam Road Test (Peltier Cooled Upgraded SPC900)
http://www.jtwastronomy.com A fairly thorough workout for the camera. Pure monochrome shots, no filters, no barlow, just prime focus. To give an idea of the cameras performance. Camera can be found here - http://cgi.ebay.com/280686783689 Test subjects were M13, the great Hercules Cluster and M57, the Ring Nebula. Images were taken with a TS Optics 200mm F5 photo-newtonian on an NEQ6 mount (with EQ mod). A skywatcher ED80 was used as a guidescope and of course the imager was a Hypercam with ICX414ALA CCD. Music is from the video game Red Alert 2, track is called grinder :)
