My first flight at Turkey and GRITS 2017.  Much nicer conditions at this field in the fall as opposed to the rain and mud from the spring launches.  First flight for me using a Jolly Logic chute release as well, with the release altitude set at 400 feet.  Winds were pretty light on the field.  Great boost, straight, fast and high on a black line of smoke.  Just arcing over at the top of the climb, good separation at apogee.  winds moving pretty good at altitude, pushing the rocket back across the flight line and out into the field.  Chute release worked as advertised at 400 feet.  Long walk to recover on the field with no damage.  Shock cord was severely twisted, and not having the chute out at apogee made the rocket harder to track during the descent, but my initial impression of the chute release is that it will be a very useful tool.
