25th flight of Slick Willy, my level one bird on a new Aerotech Metalstorm DM motor.  Nice sparky boost, loud and proud.  Arcing back into the wind at the top of the climb, I saw and heard the drogue event but immediately lost sight of the rocket.  Saw a couple of flashes off the paint up high but then nothing.  Stood with the wind at ny back and waited for the  main event at 500 feet.  Heard the pop and several people got eyes on it.  Grass landing in the cow pasture about 1/4 mile out, no damage.  I like the new AT sparkies, but you really need a bigger motor to get the full effect.
