Finally had the right winds to put Old Glory up on a "K" I have had built for several months.  Awesome boost, straight, fast and loud off the rail.  Good drogue deploymeant at apogee, good main at 700 feet.  A little bit of wind at altitude had it out near the back of the field.  I wasn't concerned, but when I hiked out to recover it I discovered that the rocket had settled in a nice arc along the shore of a settling pond.  I also discovered that the bottom conformal rail guide had torn off during launch (it was found later in the day near the pads).  I had mounted the guides on a small stack of "shims" cut from scrap BT to get enough clearance for a rail to feed through one of the tube fins, and one of the BT shims simply tore loose.  Should be an easy fix, and hopefully this doesn't prove to be a weak point in the build.  The Perfectflite MAWD reported 3823 feet, and the Stratologger reported 3869 feet.
