Flight Log - 2017-01-14 - Matthew Bond's Estes Dark Energy
An "exotic" class design, utilizing a long, highly detailed nosecone, and "T" cross section fins which are also canted with respect to the airflow. Originally produced with an 18mm motor mount, I built mine with a 24mm, given the size, weight and additional drag from the fin design.

Awesome flight! Great boost, smooth, straight and high. Arcing over, still nose up at ejection. Good chute, short walk, landed on the field with no damage.
