Flight Log - 2017-11-04 - Matthew Bond's Estes Mega Der Pink Max
Estes upscaled Red Max Pro Series II kit. Added an eyebolt to the top centering ring and replaced the shock cord with 20 feet of braided Kevlar. Added some balsa "dams" to the motor mount which allowed me to pot the TTW fin tabs in epoxy where they attached to the motor mount. Currently using a kevlar heat shield and a 30 inch Spherachute for recovery. Rocket was initially flown "nekkid", but final colors will be pink with a purple nosecone and "Der Pink Max" decals from Stickershock.

Another beautiful, low wind flight. Awesome straight, fast, high boost, arcing over at the top of the climb, still nose up at ejection. Good chute, long time coming down. Landed on the field, short walk, no damage.
