Flight Log - 2017-11-04 - Matthew Bond's Rocketarium Octagon
An 18mm saucer design with the frame built up around the central motor tube from 7 laser cut light plywood parts and the covering formed from interlocking cardstock panels. The cardstock is plain white allowing for any possible decoration scheme. The flight profile is low altitude, high drag, for a fun, close to the pad flight.

A little saucer action to start off the day. Winds were negligible. Great boost, nice and straight, towing a big low pressure cloud of smoke behind it. Flipped over at apogee and settled slowly back down to the field. Perfect.
