Rockets are dangerous, you probably shouldn't try this at home, be responsible, etc. After a couple haphazard hybrid tests on a modified sawhorse, I decided to build a proper static thrust test stand, complete with a spring scale for measuring thrust. This is somewhat useful for testing solid fuel engines, but will be an important tool in designing an effective hybrid. More tests to come soon.
