Flight Log - 2012-02-26 - Jeff Boldig's Packers Backer II
This is a recreation of my original 29mm Thug. All the dimensions are the same as the 29mm version, but with a 38mm MMT. I also used the orginal nosecone that had the shoulder crushed in the lawn dart that destroyed the original. I replaced the shoulder with a coupler tube and mounted an U-bolt in the tip of the nose cone.
The paint scheme is the same as the 29mm Thug with the Packers theme. Instead of home made waterslide decals, this time I made my own vinyl decals with ink jet printer vinyl decal sheets. That worked great.

This got way up there! Could barely see the chute on deployment. Deployment was probably a little early.
