Pop Goblin is a "goblinized" Estes Big Daddy.  The mods include a 29mm motor mount, braided kevlar/bungee cord shock cord, laminated balsa centering rings and laminated TTW goblin fins.

As you can see, the original flavor of the "Goblin" is now fatter and squashier!  The mods were not hard to do.  Everything was assembled with 15min epoxy and I made the decals myself in photoshop by modifying the scan of the originals found on JimZ's awesome site.

The rocket is surprisingly rugged and flys quite well.  I have launched it on a "G" and attained altitudes near 2500 feet and even had a "stuck parachute crash landing" with no damage!

The stock Big Daddy kit is a little underpowered IMHO and the addition of a 29mm motor mount really perks things up!  Nose weight is a MUST when doing this but just follow safe construction/design methods and voila -  A mid-powered fatty that will thump slow and low on an "E", in small field situations while screaming for the stratosphere when space allows on a "G"!  Sweet!
