Semroc based the Lil' Centauri on a classic Coaster Company design from 1959. The original design was published as a set of plans for a radio-controlled boost glider. Semroc's Lil' Centauri is a 1/2 scale model of the original. It uses parachute recovery since the glide capabilities were not proven.
