Restoration of a vintage one from a Firing Line set. It was missing the BT decal, and the fin decals were badly water damaged. So I made reproductions based on scans of the fin decals and catalog manual images of the rocket.

Low flight, and the bird came in fast and hard with its original 'chute. This was actually about the 5th flight for this rocket since I obtained it and restored it. The modern Estes engines' "shotgun ejection" really gave the body tube a beating after these flights, with a lot of carbon scoring and some melting. So I think I'll clean up and retire this one to display only, since it looks much prettier than it flies.
