Flight Log - 2014-06-28 - Thomas "Tweeks" Weeks's Talon-3
Claimed to be "The Sexiest Kit Alive". This was my first, official high power rocket, and what I certed on. With all heavy duty components, G10 fins, ebay, nylon and kevlar cords, it relaly is a top notch kit.

This was my L2 flight. Did it dual deploy. High altitude for this small field. CG was shifted forward as I just added an extra 6 inches of blue tube to repair from my prior launch (bad motor eject timing). This time went 100% altimeter based drogue and main deploy using my accelerometer based GWiz LCX. Popped a 10ft streamer at 1/2 sec past apogee. Then the main 56" chute at 800ft. Still drifted 1/2 mi, but I got it back, and got my L2! Here's the actual flight pic.
