Another video I produced back in 2008 from astrocamera recordings captured through a Meade LX200 Schmidt Cassegrain telescope of 250mm (10 inches) aperture. It was a trivial investigation into 'starship' videos I'd seen scattered around YouTube that simply don't ring true. As an amateur astronomer with an intimate understanding of telescopes and astrophotography, I decided to investigate how they were made. It didn't take long, all the clues were in the videos. To complete the investigation, I used some free editing software and a catchy soundtrack to put together my own YouTube presentation. I made several in fact, but didn't take it any further. I'd proved the deception and that was enough. But my lifelong fascination with Ufology keeps bringing me back to YouTube. And still, those old starships are there, still fooling people. So here's mine. And remember, EVERYTHING YOU SEE IN THIS VIDEO IS FAKE! Someday, I'll reveal how easy it all is.
