I flew my Deuce to test Wally's homemade chute. Motors were Aerotech J500G The chute is 6 panel, semi-toroidal with a 7th shroud in the center. Very solid construction with 9/16" TN shrouds and 1.9 oz material. Packing volume is close to the 96" Spherachute I normally use in this rocket. I got a descent rate of 11 fps with this chute, the Spherachute gives me 13-14.
