I put together the G78 LMS motor and removed 4 seconds from the delay, leaving 6 seconds. I also used an Aeropack 29-38 adapter.. This worked out pretty well as ejection occurred close to apogee. I had a chute release set to open the parachute at 300'. Weighing 2lb 6 oz, it dropped like a rock and caused quite a jolt to the rocket when the parachute opened. The shock cord broke out about a 2" section from the shoulder of the 3D printed nose cone.
The biggest is though was the cap of the retainer was missing along with my Aeropack adapter when I recovered the rocket. I can only surmise I didn't get the retainer cap tightened. Fortunately, it did push out the chute.
