Plastic fins -- not my favorite as plastic finds tend to be wobbly and break easily. I don't expect this rocket to last, but it was a kit build that came as a starter pack from Hobby Lobby. Second rocket constructed since 2003, also with my five year old son. He wanted it painted Florida Gator colors for some reason, deviating from the original paint scheme.

As said earlier, I'm not a fan of plastic fins, but this was more so a kit my son and I could do together and enjoy. We are planning to move up to kids with more balsa/plywood-type fins.
