Part of a badly treated Ebay lot buy, this X-Wing is missing three guns and part of a wing. It also had an expended motor casing stuck inside it, which I managed to extricate. I epoxied in a new motor tube, added some basswood fins on top of the exhaust housings, and reglued several plastic pieces that had too much wiggle to them.

Never stable, and that can be blamed on operator error. While getting this flightworthy I neglected to put the nose weight in the nose cone. Began flipping immediately off the pad and ejection charge sounded like a gunshot. Shock cord broke and nose cone and body wound up twenty feet apart. I'll add nose weight and try again.
