In 2018, the BYU Rocketry High Power Team took 2nd Place in the 10k COTS Category of the 2018 Spaceport America Cup. This video highlights their experience in Las Cruces, NM. There, they met representatives from SpaceX, Blue Origin, Virgin Galactic, the United Launch Alliance, Northrop Grumman, and more! The week-long event included a conference session with posters and presentations, as well as multiple days spent out at the launch range. BYU's rocket, Wasatch I, launched on an M-class motor to nearly 10,000 feet above ground level.
