Flight Log - 2010-09-18 - Dick Stafford's Too Rolling Red Stoned

The Too Rolling (Red)Stoned is is a NVS (not very scale) version of a Mercury Redstone.  It is a large, light rocket that is built using card stock and foam board and is basically a 4” rocket in an 8” rocket’s skin.

Flight Date: 2010-09-18
Rocket Name: Too Rolling Red Stoned
Kit Name: Scratch - Too Rolling Red Stoned {Scratch}
Flyer's Name: Dick Stafford
Motors: H165-5
Expected Altitude: 400.00 Feet
Wind Speed: 5.00 mph
Launch Site: MDRA - Centreville, MD

The flight was great with a red-flamed boost to about 400ft (my guess). It backslid and ejection was with the nose cone still up. Both 'chutes came out on cue and provided a gentile landing.
