Flight Log - 2012-05-12 - Hans "Chris" Michielssen's Estes Der Red Max Clone
First clone I build after getting back into the hobby.
This was a re-build, this time I filled the seams on the body tube and launch lugs. It is now painted red, not orange. New decals from the Estes reissued kit. I used Americana clear acrylic with good results - very shiny. No skull and crossbones parachute in this kit.

The 18" parachute was switched out for the 12" chute from the Pipeline rocket. Good thing - the winds were just starting to come up. The Red Max landed a little too close to a tree.
