Flight Log - 2016-01-09 - Hans "Chris" Michielssen's Estes R2D2
This is the medium sized R2D2, the plastic body is the same diameter as a BT-70 tube.
Very well made molds, everything fit very well except for the stickers. Clear fins extend below the main body.
Rear eject engine mount, tough to pack parachute and shroud lines.

The C6-3 gave a slow boost, by the time of the rear eject parachute the droid had arced over. Ejection was a loud pop with full chute and a nose down landing. No damage.
