Flight Log - 2015-10-03 - Hans "Chris" Michielssen's Estes R2D2
This is the medium sized R2D2, the plastic body is the same diameter as a BT-70 tube.
Very well made molds, everything fit very well except for the stickers. Clear fins extend below the main body.
Rear eject engine mount, tough to pack parachute and shroud lines.

It takes a while to pack the 12" parachute and shock cord between the centering rings on the rear eject pod. A straight labored boost.There was a loud pop at ejection. Full chute and no damage.
