This model is based on the First Flight Hobbies Corn Roc model.
I found this styrofoam corn cob in a sale bin at Hobby Lobby for $1.00. I thought it'd be a great build for the blog. A hole was reamed for a BT-5, 13mm mount. A little nose weight, 8" parachute and unfinished balsa fins round out the build.

This was a test launch before flying it at the next Tampa TTRA launch. It got better altitude than I would have expected. Very stable. The 8" parachute seems too small but nothing larger would fit in the BT-5 internal tube.
