Flight Log - 2014-05-25 - Hans "Chris" Michielssen's Estes SR-71 Blackbird
Classic kit, had trouble with aftermarket water slide decals.
Rocket seems too heavy for 18mm engines, but I built it stock.
Body shrouds were ridiculously hard to form and glue.

Labored boost, the B6-4 delay a bit long, a B6-3 would be perfect for the schoolyard.
Parachute shroud lines got tangled on the body, chute never fully opened.
Still stable and recovered without damage.
