This is our first homemade rocket launch, in which we made everything from scratch, including the fuel. We had a problem with the launch pad guide wire being too flimsy, causing it to lift off at a strange angle. The rocket lifted to an estimated 800 feet. And flew a near quarter mile from the launch site, into a horse pasture due to our defective guide wire.
