Flight Log - 2012-02-04 - K Sonesen's Mean Machine
This is your basic Estes Mean Machine. The only out of the ordinary is the two tone (black and pink) paint scheme.
P.S. This the modern version with the twist-lock coupler in the middle. Makes transporting and storing it much easier.

I'm not sure what happened but the altitude was much lower than expected (200-300). Fortunately, the short delay saved the day. I believe there may have been a problem with the motor as it "shut off" rather abruptly at a low altitude. In spite of what appeared to be a gentle landing in the pad area, one of the fin joints showed a crack so no follow up flights were made.
