XcalRocketMan's two flights at LDRS 36 @ Higgs Farm in Price, MD. The Emerald Fire is a Wildman 4" Darkstar fitted with dual deployment and an Ozark GPS telemetry head in the nosecone. Although the GPS system worked as expected, the data recorder was not running so data wasn't captured on this flight. Deployment electronics include a ARTS-II and PerfectFlite altimeters. Reached an altitude of 3,700 feet on a K805G motor; maximum velocity of 527 ft/sec. The Mustang-XL is a 2x upscale of the Aerotech's Mustang. It carries an ARTS-II and PerfectFlite altimeters for deployment. Reached an altitude of 4,700 feet on a J450DM motor with maximum velocity of 670 ft/sec.
