1997, Hartsel Colorado. Blimey! I attended LDRS 16 for me Level 1, 2 and 3 certification attempts. Arrr! I only got me first 2 certifications before I went t' t' hospital in Denver Colorado. Begad! T' rockets that went off that day were a full scale Arrrrrrrcas on an I-284 and a Sand Hawk on a K-550. Later I attended LDRS 19 in South Carolina for me Level 3 attempt. A 12 foot tall 12 inch diameter rocket was lifted off t' ground with a M-1939 (filmed by Earl Cagle Jr, shiver me timbers, Point 39 Productions) Unfortunately t' rocket crashed by t' parachutes meltin' together.
