First prototypes were made using blank CDs. they were prone to breaks on landing.
Newest version uses 1/8" ply disks with an ST-7 engine mount tube.
A print of the Moon is on one side, the Earth on the other.

Another pre-production flight. With 10 mph winds and stronger gusts it would be a good stability test. A Estes C6-3 engine got it to about 250', a fast spin brought it back in.
