Flight Log - 2012-05-12 - Hans "Chris" Michielssen's Quest AS-1 Escort
While it's a great design, building the kit was a pain. The model is actually 13 3/4" tall, not 17.3" as advertised on the face card and website.
Errors in the instructions, not enough decals and a badly pre-cut parachute. It's be a tough build for a younger flyer.

Vertical boost with a slow turn to an estimated 250 feet. The crispy Quest parachute ejected but didn't open. There isn't much room for the parachute and I must have packed it too tightly. Still, no damage on recovery.
