Flight Log - 2014-01-15 - Hans "Chris" Michielssen's Quest AS-1 Escort
While it's a great design, building the kit was a pain. The model is actually 13 3/4" tall, not 17.3" as advertised on the face card and website.
Errors in the instructions, not enough decals and a badly pre-cut parachute. It's be a tough build for a younger flyer.

This should be a A8-3 model, one second less delay is about right for an apogee ejection. There was a bit of coning going up with a slight parachute melt coming down.
