Flight Log - 2012-10-07 - Hans "Chris" Michielssen's Raisin' Maize (Scratch Design)
This model is based on the First Flight Hobbies Corn Roc model.
I found this styrofoam corn cob in a sale bin at Hobby Lobby for $1.00. I thought it'd be a great build for the blog. A hole was reamed for a BT-5, 13mm mount. A little nose weight, 8" parachute and unfinished balsa fins round out the build.

New streamer recovery replacing 8" parachute. Engine did eject even tho there was a tape wrap around the motor mount tube.
